After the inspiring comeback to acting with the movie 'Best Actor', actor-director Lal will be seen as the hero in the new flick Salt N Pepper. This curiously titled movie by Aashiq Abu of ‘Daddy Cool’ fame, will be a family thriller, also featuring Mythili, Asif Ali and Baburaj in other important roles. Shwetha Menon will don the female lead of the movie opposite Lal. The movie is said to have a very impressive and thrilling storyline which made the Lal to immediately accept the offer. The shoot for the 'Salt N Pepper' will kick of by the mid of January.

Meanwhile, Lal's latest movie on theatres as a director, ‘Tournament’ is having a poor run at the box office, though the songs of the movie are already chart toppers. The movie is applauded for the acting of the freshers, but the later half seems to have spoiled the show.
